getting ready for SYSR

for those of you who dont know what SYSR is its the Sophomore Year Scholarship Review. Basically i have to show at least three pieces from each of my art classes to a panel of judges. Then they decide whether or not i'm good enough to continue in my major. It is probably the most stressfull thing i've ever encountered.

anyway. here are some of my pieces.

Summer art

I'm so tired of charcoal, thats all we used in drawing classes at school. Here's pencil. This is still a work in progress. I'm still working on the hair as you can see



ok i've also been doing signatures for an anime forum. I'm not a big anime fan, but they give me art projects so that's good Here are some of the signatures i've made for people

This is a movie my group in 2D design made. It's made of all stills. I'm pretty happy with it, i just wish more of my own ideas were put into the movie. I'm making one on my own just for fun.

ok, i created this website because i needed a place to store my art work and whatever else.

I'm taking figure drawing next semester and i'm a litle bit nervous. The drawing teacher i have now pretty much keeps telling me my drawings are crap just because i don't have the same style as her. I'm not going to name names, i just know i gotta do better in this drawing class. I'm practicing eyes and other facial features right now because those are the hardest for me to draw. here are some eyes.
